Quilting weekend

Marty is on the road home to NJ after a successful weekend of quilt making. We got the top of the quilt put together in record time, and with no major rip outs, (a major milestone for us.) A slight adjustment was made to the border - we took out Matt's middle name and the date, otherwise the borders would have been too wide.

We think it turned out great. The colors really pop and you can see the designs in the individual fabrics. The picture doesn't do it justice and we know it will look even better after it's quilted. The plan is to use a green batik with a spiral design in keeping with the celtic theme for the backing. Hopefully, we will be able to get the backing this week and get the top out to the quilter so it will be done in time for Holden Beach.

All we need now is a good name....something with "buster"
